Claude Di Martian - Int'l DJ & MC

Arguably the most sort after Afrobeats DJ in the DMV area and certainly one the finest and dynamic MCs to ever touch the microphone, Calude is one of kind. Claude “Di Martian” is the ultimate music lover; his francophone background allows him to have an understanding in both the French and English Afro-Caribbean culture. As a child he loved to dance and wanted to always be in the midst of musical events. Claude is currently a well-respected DJ in the Washington DC metropolitan area; his versatility has allowed him to share his talent in various circles: American, African, Caribbean, European, and Latin. His knowledge and love for music has not been the only reason he has quickly become a force to be reckoned with; his presence on the microphone has given a new meaning to crowd control. He is one of the leading faces in a prominent group known as Tagsoundz. Dubbed as the “International Party Kingpins” DJs of Tagsoundz are pushing the envelope when it comes to the promotion of the Afro-Caribbean culture through music and radio programing. They pride themselves on truly giving people an enjoyable experience with every performance.

DJ Kweks

DJ Kweks is the founder of the Afropolitan movement and a brand name to reckon with in the international entertainment scene. For years he has produced some of the largest and most anticipated multi-cultural events nation-wide. He began his journey in entertainment as a DJ in 2010 to cater and provide quality social experiences to young professionals in the diaspora. Popularly known for his incredible talent, high energy international fusion mixes and high quality standards, DJ Kweks is a favorite of DMV’s young professional and adult crowd. DJ Kwek’s unique creativity and diverse taste in music; natural command of the dance floor; and captivating DJ performances are a rare blend and what sets him apart from the very best DJs. This is why he has been dubbed the DJ with the midas touch by his clients. He is one of the most sought after DJs for some of the largest and most distinguished international and multi-cultural events across the east coast, including the prestigious African business conference gala organized by the Harvard Business School (2012-2014), Wharton (2010), George Washington and other universities.  DJ Kwek’s popularity and reputation cuts across racial and cultural boundaries. His ability to blend multiple international genres seamlessly makes him the ideal choice for key international and corporate events. He is truly a master at rocking international events whether at the McDonough School of Business spring formal in DC, the John Hopkins SAIS cherry blossom parties in DC, the LRIS fund raising gala in Baltimore, the DC Mayor’s Office on African Affairs Festival, or at FestAfrica – the largest African festival in the DMV (over 6000 people). DJ Kweks has delivered countless number of impressive performances. Kweks also has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Howard University and an MBA from Georgetown University. His mission is to connect the African diaspora through social events. DJ Kweks without a doubt is a true master of the art.
