The Global Africa Summit (GAS)—produced by the Africa Investment Network (AIN)—is a results-oriented marketplace designed to accelerate cross-border trade, investment, and entrepreneurship across Africa and its worldwide diaspora. In 2025, the series spans three cities: Washington, DC (Oct 14–15, The Catholic University of America), Toronto (Oct 23, Toronto Metropolitan University), and Accra (Dec 11–12, Alisa Hotel).

GAS convenes a high-caliber mix of policymakers, DFIs, investors, corporate leaders, SMEs, founders, chambers, and diaspora networks to move opportunities from discussion to execution. Programming blends mainstage plenary conversations with focused sector tracks—AI/Tech, Agribusiness, Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Creative Economy, and Diaspora Finance—plus an action-driven matchmaking program that engineers one-to-one B2B/B2G introductions and investor dialogues.
Working breakout sessions zero in on practical bottlenecks—such as financing entrepreneurs and projects in Africa—to surface constraints (risk, cost of capital, pipeline readiness, FX, regulatory hurdles) and co-develop tangible solutions and next steps. Country and city investment spotlights, procurement and export-readiness clinics, and a curated deal room help participants validate pipeline and structure transactions. Cultural showcases celebrate the continent’s creativity and heritage; the DC edition culminates in an awards Dinner Gala on Oct 15.
